The Avaya IP500 V2A Control Unit supports IP Office release 11.1 or later. The IP500 V2A control unit holds the main configuration and performs the routing and switching for telephone calls and data traffic. It has 4 slots for optional base cards to support trunk and phone extension ports. The IP500 V2A control unit also has 8 expansion port slots for external expansion modules. This is the newest control unit for operating the Avaya IP Office system.
